Why bring a video camera to places like Haiti? Because without it, we can’t share the real-life images as they happened. After Katrina, I learned the importance of capturing what happens on the ground. It creates a permanent (if not virtual) records of real life events that I can share with people so they can see first hand what we do. This is a little short of us arriving in Port-au-Prince.
